Welcome to Classical Still-Life in Oils!

I am so glad you are in my class and I know we are going to have a lot of fun! I want you to be prepared for the first day of class, so here a supply list so you can organize your supplies and get started!

There are a few things you can do before class begins:

Week 1 Lessons

This week we includes lectures on composition, comparative measurement and demonstrations on how to prepare your drawing and panel for the underpainting stages. There is a bonus video on setting up a still-life at home using a cardboard box, a light and some simple household objects!

Week 2 Lessons

Welcome back to week 2! This week we will start with a lecture on using dynamic values to create focal point in your painting and we will transfer our finished drawings and start our underpainting tonal sketch in oils!

How long do I have to watch my course?

All courses give you lifetime access to stream through your student portal on this website. Lifetime Access is available for as long as you keep your account login!

Are the courses live or pre-recorded?

Our full length courses and tutorials are pre-recorded and you can watch them as many times as you like! 

I occasionally host live webinars and events, so be sure to join our email list so you don't miss our announcements!

Can I get help and feedback from you?

Yes! There are two options for this. You can book a date for a one-on-one mentorship zoom session together where we can discuss your goals, get feedback on your work and I can demonstrate digitally over your work.

You can also join our community forum and post your general questions about the courses there. Anything more specific, like in-depth direct feedback on your art work, I suggest you book a mentorship meeting! They are offered in 30 minute and 60 minute segments.
