What You Will Need For The Course:
- 11x14 or 12x16" Portrait Grade Canvas, Fine Linen Panel, or Oil Primed Panel. I recommend Richeson Extra Fine Linen or RAYMAR Ultra Smooth Portrait Panel or Trekell Oil Primed Panel
- Size 0, 2, 4, 6 Ivory Long Filbert Brushes from Rosemary Brush Co. (UK) or Trekell Brianna Lee 7 Piece Brush Set . Additionally, I recommend some Mongoose Brushes in Filbert for blending, in similar sizes (0-2-4-6)
- Glass or Wood Palette
- Palette Knifes
- Colors: Cadmium Red Light, Yellow Ocher, Burnt Sienna, Anthraquinone Red (or alizarin crimson), Transparent Red Oxide, Ultramarine Blue, Pthalo Turquoise (optional)
- Lead, Cremnitz, or Flake White Oil Paint (I use Flemish White from BlueRidge, or Lead White 1 or 2 from Natural Pigments )
- Gamsol or solvent substitute (I recommend walnut oil or safflower oil for solvent-free painting)
- Mediums: Linseed Oil, Rublev Italian Varnish, Rublev Oleogel or Gamblin Neo-Meglip
- Brush Cleaning Canister with Lid
- Tracing Paper or Velum, or Thin Sketch Paper large enough for your canvas
- Sketching Pencils (Graphite, charcoal or Wolffs Carbon)
- Paper towels, cotton rags, Q-tips, ruler
